Welcome to The course Gender, Citizenship and Migration, 7,5 hp!

The aim of The course Gender, Citizenship and Migration is to provide you with basic knowledge of current racialized formations of gender, citizenship, and migration. 

Social, economic, political as well as cultural dimensions of citizenship and migration are addressed. The course engages with key theoretical debates in the field, in particular, postcolonial and feminist conceptual investigations of citizenship, (non)belonging, and migration.

The course starts with a course introduction. The introduction is mandatory, if you are unable to attend the introduction, please contact the course coordinator on the email address further down this page.

Web registration period: August 25th – 1st of September 

Before the start of the semester, you need to register to the course. You register for the course in Ladok for students. Please use your student ID to log in. The registration is open March 25^th – 1^st, after this you will have to contact the administration to register.

Learning platform, schedule and more

At Lund University we use the digital learning platform Canvas. During the course, teachers will use Canvas to publish assignments, lecture notes etc. To access Canvas please log in with your student account. Information on how to activate your student account.

On Canvas you can find your schedule, literature list and syllabus. The schedule is also available on TimeEdit.
