Welcome to the Department of Gender Studies and our new seminar series on gender, work, and feminist political economy. The seminars will introduce ongoing research projects and feminist scholars working on issues of labor, economy and power relations in global capitalism. This is the third seminar in the series.

For the last seminar this semester we would like to welcome Adelle Blackett from MgGill University Faculty of Law, Canada. Adelle will present the seminar 'Everyday Transgressions - Domestic Workers' Transnational Challange to International Labor Law'

After the lecture, a panel consisting of Adelle Blackett, Niklas Selberg (Faculty of Law), Terese Anving (Department of Gender Studies) and Åsa Lundqvist (Department of Sociology) will discuss labor protection, domestic work and feminist organizing.
