Gender and Rights in Geographical Imaginaries: Contested Meanings and Realities
GGM

The topic of the workshop this year is Gender and Rights in Geographical Imaginaries: Contested Meanings and Realities. Imagined geographies is a concept developed by a postcolonial scholar Edward Said to grasp the relationship between the meaning given to space and boundaries and the coloniality of power. The workshop focuses on the ways through which these imagined geographies are gendered. Please check out the programme PDF iconhere
