The opportunity for organisations to gain a competitive advantage through the development of individual diversity is becoming a reality in the definition of a new strategy of human resource management, better known as Diversity Management. During his lecture, he will explain strategies and Business cases from the private, public administration and public utilities sectors to show how the awareness on the diversity management policies are increasing in several European countries and in Italy. A particular focus will be also on Diversity Charters across EU.

Marco Buemi has worked for more than 10 years as expert on Human Rights and Equal Opportunities issues at the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, National Office against Discrimination. He deals with Equal Opportunities in Employment and Diversity Management in Italy and abroad, with several collaborations with the European Commission, Equinet (European network of equality bodies), the Council of Europe and several universities.
